Use rice measuring cup that comes with the cooker to measure the appropriate amount of rice and water.
Tatung rice cooker stainless pot has water level markings inside.
- For example, for 3 cups of uncooked rinsed rice fill with water up to level 3.
- Then add water in the outer cooker also until mark 3.
- Put a stainless steel inner bowl with rice and water in the outer pot.
- Plug into a standard electrical outlet.
- Press the Cook switch down.
- The cook indicator light comes on and cooking begins.
- During the cooking process steam circulates inside the cooker.
- After about 30 minutes Cook switch pops up and rice cooker automatically switches to Keep Warm. It’s recommended to keep rice in a cooker without opening a lid for an extra 15 minutes on warm mode.
