The 3 quart aluminum pot has enamel exterior and non-stick interior. It can be used on its own to cook 1-2 servings of food. The pot is lightweight and heats up fast. It distributes heat evenly. If you fill the pot with 3 quarts of water, it will be up to the brim.
The stainless steel steamer basket is 3-3/4 inches deep. It sits only 1/2 of an inch into the top of the pot. It cannot be used as a pasta insert. It’s great for steaming a small quantity of vegetables.
The handles are comfortable and cool to touch.
