Anolon 77447 stainless steel universal steamer insert is made of stainless steel and comes with a glass lid. It has tapered shape and works with taper-shaped, straight-sided and tulip-shaped deep circular pots by any brand.
Due to its 3 steps on the side, Anolon stainless steel universal steamer fits Anolon 2-quart, 3-quart, 4-quart pots and works almost with any other circular 2-3-4 qt capacity pots. It’s similar to the Circulon universal steamer.
Anolon stainless steel universal food steamer insert dimensions
The steamer dimensions are 8″ across the top, 7″ across the middle, 6″ across the bottom and 4″ high. Use it with a pot which dimensions are at least 6.5″ to 7.5″ across on top and 6″ high. How deep steamer will sit in another pot depends on the pots top diameter.

Anolon universal steamer with shatter-resistant glass lid is oven safe to 500 Degree F. Dual-riveted handles are not heat resistant and may get very hot. It’s also dishwasher safe.
A shatter-resistant glass lid allows you to watch the steaming process without lifting it. The lid doesn’t have a vent. It makes steaming faster.
It steams up to 2 lbs of any products. It steams vegetables, chicken, fish and fruits. It’s safe to prepare baby foods. When steaming large products, cut them into pieces.
