How AmazonBasics 4 cup rice cooker works
Cooks as little as 1 cup of dry rice.
- Add water until water level marking inside the bowl and and rice according to the instructions. For example: when cooking 2 cups of dry rice fill with water up to line 2. Add salt, olive oil (optional).
- Turn it on. Note: the rice cooker does not switch to the Warm mode until all liquid is absorbed. During cooking, hot steam is released from the steam vent on the lid.
The vent on the lid releases steam to prevent pressure build up
- When cooking cycle is completed the cooker with switch to Warm mode and will keep the rice warm until you are ready to eat.
- Note: Do not leave the rice cooker set to the Warm mode for more than
12 hours. - Unplug the cooker, to switch it completely.
