Euro Cuisine food steamer is made of stainless steel except for the base that does not come in contact with the water or food. Stainless steel surface doesn’t react with food.

The base has a control panel with LCD display with 90 minute timer and delay feature that allows you to delay the steaming start time.

The stainless steel water reservoir is situated over the base.

The heating element is placed under stainless steel reservoir for safety and will not come in contact with water or other liquids.

The water reservoir has Low and Max water level lines inside. The water reservoir capacity is 4.5 quart. The stainless steel drip tray sits on top of water reservoir.

Removable perforated steaming tiers sit over the drip tray.  The diameter of each basket is 11.5 inches. The height is 3.5 inches. The capacity of each basket is 8.5 quart.
The domed stainless steel lid has vents to release pressure. The diameter of the lid is 11.5 inches. The height is 2.75 inches. The domed lid construction allows to steam large products without cutting them in pieces.

How Euro Cuisine 2 tier food steamer works

Euro Cuisine stainless steel food steamer has easy to use control panel. Plug it into 110 V outlet. To turn the steamer on push the On/Off button.

You will hear the signal sound and the blue light will come on.

After you press the Set button the steamer light will start flushing and the preset 15 minutes will show up on the display.

From there press on “+” or “-” buttons to adjust the steaming time for cooking your food. To advance time or decrease time hold the button. The maximum time is 90 minutes.

After 15 minutes of inactivity the food steamer will automatically turn on and the steamer light and timer will become steady and then time on the display will count down until it reaches 00:00.

When cooking process is completed the Euro Cuisine steamer beeps 5 times and automatically switches to Keep Warm mode and Keep Warm light comes on. It will stay on Keep Warm mode for 60 minutes maximum. The display timer will count up until it reaches the 60 minutes. Then food steamer will beep 3 times and automatically shut off. The blue light will turn off as well.

If you are ready to serve food right away press On/Off button twice. The light and unit will turn off.

It’s recommended to add water in water reservoir while the unit is on Keep warm Mode. If the food steamer becomes dry, it will beep 10 times to alert you and will automatically shut off.

To set up the delay timer follow these steps:

  • Plug the cord into the wall outlet and press On/Off button.
  • Press delay timer button once. The steamer light will start flashing and 15 minutes preset time will appear.
  • Adjust the steaming time pressing “+” or “-” buttons.
  • Press the Delay timer button again and the Timer light will start flashing.
  • Now press “+” or “-” to adjust the Delay time in hours first (if you don’t change the number of hours, the blinking hour light will switch to minute light).
  • Then press the Delay Timer again and the minute will start blinking. Press +/- to adjust minutes.
  • After 15 seconds of inactivity the food steamer will automatically switch to Delay mode.
  • The Timer light and Display will remain steady and the time on the display window will count down until it reaches 00:00. The Timer light will turn off.
  • The Steamer light will come on and the steaming process with start.
  • When cooking cycle is completed the steamer will switch to Keep Warm mode or you can press the On/Off button twice to turn the steamer off.
