The steamer insert has 3 steps on the side and perfectly fits other small sauce pans from Cuisinart chef’s classic line. The diameter of the pot and insert is 9 inches. The stainless steel cooking surface doesn’t react with acidic food, discolor or alter flavors.
Cast stainless steel cool grip stick handles are riveted and contoured for a secure grip and are cool to touch. Rims of cookware are tapered to make pouring clean and easy.
It’s oven safe to 500 degrees F. It’s dishwasher-safe.
