Calphalon stainless steel pasta pot and steamer insert is a multi purpose food steamer. The pasta pot is great for cooking pasta, soup, sauces, legumes and more. With its 8 quart capacity you can prepare 6-8 servings of food. 

The strainer holds 1 pound of dry pasta with plenty of room for the water to circulate around the pasta. Due to even heating pasta expands and cooks evenly. The pasta strainer can hold and steam large vegetables, whole chicken, corn on the cob, seafood, cauliflower, butternut squash, eggs, potatoes and more.

The steamer insert allows you to steam anything from vegetables to fish. Add water in Calphalon pasta pot and steam vegetables or meats in the steamer insert.
