The All-Clad 12 quart stainless steel pasta pot is constructed of 18/10 high quality stainless steel. 18 and 10 numbers refer to 18 % of chromium content and 10 % nickel content. Both chromium and nickel are stain, corrosion and rust resistant metals, but nickel makes ferrous content non magnetic.This All-Clad stainless steel 12-quart pasta pot is not induction compatible.

All-Clad stainless steel pasta pot’s base is constructed of 3 metal layers. Due to bad stainless steel heat conductivity, aluminum core is placed between stainless steel layers to provide even heat distribution and make base thicker and more durable.
