Joyce Chen 10 inch bamboo steamer requires additional pot, skillet or wok. Pot diameter must be larger than bamboo steamer diameter in order to place bamboo steamer inside of a pot.
Soak bamboo steamer in cold water for a few hours before use. Bamboo absorbs condensation and moisture together with food flavor. Using parchment liners when steaming products will prevent bad smell and stains. Due to woven wood construction it can be damaged easily if handled without care.
