Hamilton Beach Digital rice cooker has 4 integrated cooking functions such as:
- Boil/Simmer function prepares soup, pasta, rice mixes, legumes, stew and more with a push of a button. Put all desired ingredients in the cooking pot and close it. Turn it on and set the simmer time.Rice cooker will heat the water to the required temperature and then will switch to SIMMER function automatically. When simmering is completed it will switch to Keep Warm.
- White rice button cooks all types of white rice.
- Whole grain function cooks brown rice and whole grain. When cooking rice or grains, rice cooker adjusts the cooking time automatically according to the amount of rice or grains and water level in the cooker. When the cooking cycle is completed it switches to keep warm automatically.
- Steamer allows to steam vegetables, chicken breasts, fish and more.
It allows you to steam desired foods from 1 to 30 minutes. As soon as the steaming starts the countdown timer will show the remaining time. If you want to steam vegetables together with rice you can add steaming tray with vegetables 10-15 minutes before the cooking cycle is completed.
If the water evaporates, it will alert you with a beep and the remaining time will start flashing. To continue Steam & Cook process just add water within 3 minutes. It has a plastic deposit on the side to pick all condensation.
